PD BKK was formed with the intent and purpose of helping and encouraging economic growth and Regional Development in all fields and in order to improve the standard of living of the people as a source of regional income.

PD BKK functions as one of the Intermediation institutions in the field of Finance with the task of running a business as a Micro Credit Institution in accordance with the provisions of the prevailing laws and regulations.

Some of the businesses undertaken by BKK include:

• Collecting funds from the public in the form of deposits, savings and or other forms equivalent to that.
• Give credit and provide guidance to customers.
• Placing funds in the form of, time deposits, certificates of deposit, current accounts or other types of other banks.
• Carrying out other businesses as long as they do not conflict with the applicable laws and regulations.
